Things I wish I knew how to do...

I want to learn how to

things like this cowl.....
yes yes yes please
does anyone want to teach me? I'm a fast learner!

I absolutely die for curry. It would be nice to be able to make my own massaman instead of forking out 15 bucks every time I have a craving.

Enough said

  1. I can teach you to knit!

(... if we can ever find a time that works!)

You can totally do it. It's basically just two stitches, and then you can do variations and get fancy about it.

The cowl is probably just the main two stitches, though. That's what it looks like. And the stitches are HUGE. So, once you know how to knit (and you've practiced a little so that your stitches look even) you could probably knit one of those up in a couple hours.

If you really want to learn, I would be happy to teach you the basics. We could probably get you started in an hour, I think. Maybe longer. If you want, you could come up to SJ Sunday afternoon or evening. I think that's the only free time I have in the near future, but we could invite you and your guy for dinner, if you'd like. (After that, my life is going to be pretty crazy with wedding stuff, and then I won't be back until the end of the month.)

I dunno. Maybe it would be easier for you to just have a Provo friend show you. I'm just saying, it could be fun. :)

  2. Massaman is my favorite. We should try to make it one day together :)

  3. i totally taught myself to knit. i will teach you and then we can make a cowl together! i want a bright red one!
